Patty Krishnan is the Managing Director of Krishnan Company, PC.
CPA, a professional accounting firm based in Norcross, GA. Ms. Krishnan
founded the firm in 2001, to serve the professional accounting needs
of small and mid-sized companies, both established and startup.
With nearly a decade of experience in public accounting, Ms. Krishnan
has established the firm as a leading provider of full service accounting
solutions to the Asian Indian community in Atlanta and the neighboring
areas.
Krishnan Company caters to the business needs of approximately
350 corporate clients and 700 individual clients. The firm employs
a team of 4-6 full time accountants and administrative personnel
to manage and oversee the various services provided by the firm.
These include bookkeeping and compilation, financial statement preparation,
accounting software setup, sales and payroll tax preparation, corporate
and individual income tax preparation. In addition to these the
firm also provides auditing, reviews and specialized consulting
services.
In her role as Managing Director, Ms. Krishnan oversees the creation
and maintenance of systems to conduct the various business functions
and administrative processes to manage the practice. As the key
spokesperson for the firm she is also responsible for client networking
to enhance business development. Above all as the firm’s principal,
she is primarily responsible for quality control and the ethical
conduct of the firm in compliance with the highest standards of
the profession.
Prior to founding Krishnan & Company, Ms. Krishnan has served
in various leadership and professional roles such as partner of
Krishnan Twum and Company, PC. CPA; Senior Staff Accountant at Sharma
& Twum PC. CPA; Research Assistant at Dept. of Finance, University
of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS. She began her professional
career at Apple Industries Ltd., (a publicly held software training
and development firm in India).
Ms. Krishnan is a member of the advisory board of Quantum National
Bank, Suwanee. GA (a minority owned community bank). She is also
a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants,
Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia
Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. She is a former Treasurer (2002)
of the India American Cultural Association – a leading community
service organization. She is a multilingual with fluency in various
South Asian languages (Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Marathi).
